Ever since I got my MR2 I've developed a soft spot for these. There's just a lot of 80's awesomeness built into them. Wedge(y) shapes, fender flares, and a stereo equalizer FTW.

Nice example - good luck with the sale.

That looks like a good deal on a nice car. My father had two of them when I was growing up.....an 83 and a 85.5. Both were great GT cars--- very much like a Japanese 6 series BMW,or a Porsche 928 that won't leave you penniless!

They also had some of the best seats ever bolted to a production car. Unfortunately the seats don't hold up well over time.

Good luck with the sale---- seems like a great deal!

figures you are on the wrong coast..... My wife LOVED her Mk II Supra... and for an east coast car yours looks GREAT!

You wouldn't want to do me a flavor and find out how much that bad boy would cost to ship to 97219????

The first car that I legally drove on the street (with my temps) was a white 84 much like that...fond memories.

OMG I had an '84 MKII P-type that looked exactly like yours. Except mine was a total basketcase haha. It was a fun car (when it ran) and introduced me to the allure of hunting down obsolete, nearly imposible to find Toyota parts. I still miss it though

GLWS and thank God you are 1300 miles away

the PO bought this car at a public auto auction for his son but having as much mechanical aptitude as Don Knox he did not know what he was looking at. He was like so many people who go to these auctions that truly think that there is nothing wrong with the cars. he found out it had a bad head gasket and the clutch was slipping really bad and when his mechanic told him what it would cost to fix well i ended up with it.

as far as the paint i can not believe it is factory BUT try to prove it's not and you will have a hard time because i can't if it was a repaint someone spent a lot of money

here is a picture after the buff job and detail

Dammit Cutter, you're killing me here. I really want that and I'm already versed in the art of sourcing NLA Toyota parts. Apparently, putting in offers on houses and buying yet another vintage Toyota sports car don't play nice together according to the lord of the ring.
