What does the Gastropod group think if I do my competition runs on crappy 420 treadwears but then slap on some 200 tw for a couple fun runs to see the difference?

As long as there is time in the day I'm sure it's fine. Be careful that they're not scored though. I'm going by official GRM scoring for awards. 

Shirt update!

Due to some soggy complications I'm closing the shirt pre-order list on Sunday of this week in order to ensure that I have time to get the things done that I promised. If you think you should be on the list but haven't gotten a confirmation from me, let me know. If you don't make the list, don't worry, I'll get you a shirt after the Challenge.

Class question: my car came with no carpet. I just removed the soft top because it was trashed. Am I still in the spirit of Gastropod or should I abandon ship?

You're out of the spirit. You can still hang out with us and get a shirt and all that jazz, I'm totally cool with that, but no snail trophy. Sorry man.

Essentially (the plan right now is) we're going to prove that Gastropods are the best Challenge cars EVER by taking the whole lot of them that are road registered and piling us all in and totally overwhelming some poor local taco place.

It will be like the 30mile cruise for many True Street type events, except we get tacos instead of stressed out that our “street car” can’t make the drive.

FWIW, La Fiesta is delicious. It's a sit-down place with great margaritas, too. 

I'll eat any taco anywhere anytime! Wait, it sounds weird when I say it that way.

What I'm saying is, taco crawl. Like a bar crawl, except we go from place to place getting tacos. And quesadillas.

I got to say that if I was worried my street car couldn't make the 10 mile round trip drive... I'm screwed. It has 877 miles just to get there.
