$700 for a complete car with Fuchs? who cares that it "runs but overheats" or that the seller doesn't have a title? if i still had my tow dolly i'd already be on my way to Laurel MD to get it.

944 Fuchs are a different offset than 911 Fuchs and are worth a little less. White ones are also harder to sell, but those are probably worth $450 if they're not curb rashed.
I'd show up with a trailer and offer $500.

The hot ones right now are the ones that nobody used to want. Guys are taking 16x6 wheels, cutting out the centers and using them to make 17s.
don't the spec 944 guys want the rears since they're 8" wide?

Actually they're the exact same. Both sets I've had even had 911 part numbers, and both sets where original to the 944 they were on (as seen on the option code sticker). One set I kept for my 944, the other set I sold on ebay for $1,200. So if they're in good shape they're easily worth more than their asking for the car.
The '87 and newer 944 is a different offset, but I don't think any of those ever came with Fuchs. The '83-'86 944 15" Fuchs all have 911 part numbers. I think the 16" Fuchs from the 944 turbo might have a 951 part number, but I can't remember for sure.
