I'm glad I live as far away as I do, I've always loved those cars. Just funky looking enough to love. If the seats are in good enough shape you could prob zero out the budget just by selling those.

Rot free and running, thats a great buy for someone with storage and patience.

I also love those boxy, angular coupes. Just far enough away that I don't feel too guilty not persueing it

dammit, someone say "those things are pieces of E36 M3" so I can resist the urge to go buy this with the money I have put away for bilsteins for the WRX this winter....

I can't afford yet another "project" car

"Gas in tank is from 1999." It's probably ceased being gas and turned to varnish.

Awesome car... I had an 84 4kq for awhile and loved it! had some unusual original options like the rear defroster was made in the audi emblem , and manual front windows, but power rear windows (always assumed it was for weight savings.) I gave it away when it hit 280,000 miles, and my nephew put another 100,000 on it before finally killing it by sending it to a shoddy mechanic for a clutch job... It is among the best vehicles all around Ive ever owned...

They can be fun little beasts. They use some up at the Team O'neil rally school. Those can't lead an easy life. Fun to beat on though.
