An E30 coupe with a 5 speed and upgraded shifter...few other mods, and very straight and clean body.

Pretty much near the top of my bucket cars list.

I keep getting "cash now" offers but they all seem low.
The level of traffic from ebay has been good and watchers are high. As typical with ebay, i figure all the real bidding will happen in the last few minutes (or minute.)
I have 71 watchers currently. Sure, I know many of those are just people wondering how much their own e30 may be worth but based on questions, calls and visitors to see the car in person, there must be some real shoppers there.
What are some opinions from "those in the know" on how much I should hold out for?

My buddy says $2500, but I keep hearing "you gotta spend $4K to get a decent E30 these days" on this very forum so I'm left shrugging my shoulders. Maybe shoot for $3-3.5K and negotiate from there?

i am high bidder on car right now. i deal a lot with BMW and the E30 is all over the place i have bought them for $700.00 and seen people get 4k for a rust bucket. the only ones i will buy are 2 door sticks.
