Who's going to jump on it? I know I would love to have it. Currently at $200 with 13 hours to go.

The second stick places the tranny in a "sport" or Economy mode creating a high range or low range for each gear.

It wasn't a Buick, it was an Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 - and they're Hurst lightning rods. Go look it up.

Twin stick = hi & low range of each gear, like the Honda 900 motorcycle.

what kind of final drive would you be looking at with 4th gear? It's basically like a transfer case right, only without the 4w option? so it adds a ratio between the trans and the diff? kind of quirky, but smart.

My dad had an old transmission that worked like this. It was a 3 speed with a high and low in each gear actuated by a solenoid. It was originally in our old motorhome (with a 3 on the column), but he later put it in his 71 Vette so he would get better mileage than the 4spd (He liked to drive it to work). He had it wired to a toggle switch and would just shift 1-3-5 switch the switch, let off the gas and it would go to 6th for hwy cruising. He put the 4spd back in when he sold it so it's probably still around somewhere...

These cars are so cool. Check for rust on the front shock towers.
