His response to my request for details (I think he'd take $2k for it without question):
I'll start with the KBB trade-in value was around $2,100 for fair condition. I think that it has held up very well for an 8 year old vehicle. 127,800 on the odometer. The rear passenger window power is broken and needs a new regulator, I have the records of what has been done this year, as I mentioned the brakes were totally redone and I had a $500 tune-up service done 2 weeks ago.
