So last night I was pursuing the book of faces market place when I came across a 1987 Camaro for sale.
Since I am a glutton for punishment and I always wanted a 3rd gen camaro I messaged the seller. I took a look at it today at lunch.
We made a deal and I pick it up tomorrow.
It is a 305 TPI 5 speed, body is straight no rust, interior could use some work. Tires are shot.
I will get some more pictures tomorrow when I pick it up.
Nice score for a good price. Those have really grown on me over the years. I'm not sure why either.
My neighbor has one for sale and I was idlely day dreaming about buying it to LS3 swap it the other day.
I feel special that I got pictures of this earlier today. Am I the only one that thinks pimpm3 secretly wants to grow a mullet?

Stampie, I could not grow one if I wanted too
Camaro and z3m
man jealous of your recent purchases!!!!
Bitchin Camaro and one hell of a deal. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
Only other one I took before ad was taken down.
Yeah those cars are really rising in popularity. I think you got a really good deal.
Oh hell yeah brother! Is that a T-Top car or a slick top?
Bitch"n
The ad says 45k miles? Really?
The mileage is very suspect... it also says it is an auto. I am stoked that it is actually manual.

Aren't there a lot of junkyard suspension upgrades for these? Well that's the GM norm. Let me know if you want to do a junkyard crawl.
Impressive find, Ive wanted one of these for a while. I've been told just because I think it would be 80s awesome I'd be disappointed.... Would make the perfect fly and drive challenge car.
I had an 87 T/A 305/auto from early 92 through April of 94. In retrospect I can't believe I thought it was fast...
That looks exceptionally clean compared to most, especially for that price!
Looks like a great deal! I'm a sucker for the 4th gens, but it's hard to beat the visual appeal of the 3rd gens.
Man, 3rdgens are getting popular. I might need to bring mine out.
Looks like a pretty clean base to start with for the price. They seem to be skyrocketing lately.

Really? I think the cowboy boots tie the look together perfectly.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
Cowboy boots make everything better. I'm sexy as hell naked with cowboy boots. Not so much without.
I love 3rd gens. I'm actually a Chevy guy, who's never owned a Camaro, but has somehow managed to own three Mustangs!
Believe it or not this is my 1st 3rd gen Camaro. I wanted one so bad in high school but the insurance was prohibitive. I am excited to enter this in the radwood class.
I would say it's hard to out radwood the nx2000 but nothing says 1980's more than a 3rd gen Camaro.
Also it was picked up today by the tow truck but I got tied up at work and was unable to get by the lot to mess with it.
