I entered one a few years back. The open diff really held it back.
It was much better in the drags with the traction control on.
You can make a cheap intake with a PVC pipe conduit and some epoxy.
I have a welded SC300 4.30:1 diff that will resolve that to a point. Kind of a double edged sword with the welded diff and autocross either way the ratio will get it into the revs quicker.
So the bumper is upside down. The splitter tabs and components haven't been made yet. I think you all get the idea though.
Another hour, a little more progress. Illuminati has been placed. Grill built from scrap aluminum mesh and a garage door brace from Kelly's She Shed. Aero enhancement/splitter brace started... need to strip out washer bottle to get mounting finished and then on to splitter and trunk bracing.
I drove it today. Six mile shake down. Nothing flew off, well nothing that I cared to retrieve. Had a guy in a chrome yellow Mustang give me a thumbs up.
It was a good day.
Reminds me of two quotes from friends..
"I'm an adequate welder at best, but I'm a (gosh darn) MAGICIAN with a grinder"
and
"weld it strong, grind it pretty."

Tbh John I was really puzzled & baffled why you ripped the front bumper off. But with that splitter & tubular "bumper" it works. At least in a Monster kinda way.
In reply to Pete Gossett (Forum Supporter) :
When I took it off there were zero bolts holding it on. None. It was trashed.

Are you saying that QuasiNoShow is so rare at the Challenge that this is the new unicorn thread?
Edit - damn it I knew I should have quoted dansxr2.
From the unicorn thread.

The guys trailer ate a wheelbearing. The Commanche was headed to Rugged Liner from a museum somewhere. Pretty cool to see it was one of the Archer brothers truck. Not something I'd expect to see in the middle of West Virginia!

I accidentally must have posted it while mowing, removed and posted in the appropriate area.
