NMNA, but somebody's gotta want an E12 for the Challenge. Sell the Ronals and you've got an almost-free E12 stickshift car!

Ditto homie. Good deal for left coasters.
i missed out on an E12 locally earlier this week, so i opened up my search parameters. turns out there are several E12 stick cars for sale currently. i wish seattle wasn't so far from detroit.

yes, yes i do.
It's very easy to cross thread the MC when installing since it lives in a weird place. It's an easy fix - replace the hard line with a flex line and put in a new master since junior almost certainly fubared up the one they tried to install. If it's running, that car is $120 and an hour of labor away from being a driver.
Let's see. AmTrak to Seattle with the clutch slave, a flexy line, and the tool box, fix it in the driveway, drive it out to Detroit, steerage class commercial flight back to PDX...
PNW CL has been stiff with awesome stuff recently. It's really been aggravating me, and yet I can't stop looking.

I'm unemployed, if you're footing the bills and can throw anything in on top, I would actually do this.
sounds like it had some work done to it, then sat for 15 years, then the current owner bought it and berkeleyed up some stuff trying to get it on the road. i might do it myself, but i wouldn't put someone else in the same position. oh, to have the time and money to do such a thing. i can't move on anything until i have a chance to clean up and sell my mazda6.

I got an AM-berkeleying-C that was sitting 25 years to run and drive, surely a high-quality Beamer that's only been sitting 15 can't get kick my ass.

"I was able to evaluate all the receipts and this car has well over $10,000 of service, maintenance, and up keep"
why do sellers think the amount of money put into a car over the course of it's life matters?
the car was parked for 15 years, I'm pretty sure the $10,000 put into it between 1980 and 1998 don't matter..
that said, that's really cool, especially for only $800!
