Wheels are not free. 4 tires are. Mounting and balancing the 4 are free.

Pretty sure the dark matter mustang a couple years ago had stickered hoosiers.  4 years ago i had stickered nt01’s.

Also, you can “recoup” now just by removing parts, you don’t actually have to sell them.

While technically legal, both of these techniques can push into "don't be a dick" territory really fast. I don't mind if you want that bmw window motor for another project and sell it to yourself for $4, but everybody knows that taurus backseat isn't worth $800. Not even to the person who was conceived on it.
