Anyone have connections with a Subaru or BMW forum? It seems they often are looking this size.
Just for the record, if these don't sell by the end of the weekend, there may not be a tunatruck, as the wife will likely kill me until I die from it when she comes back from her trip and finds the tires still here and the dollars gone.
No pressure.
Does anyone have an Amazon sellers account? I think they can sell alongside this listing if you have one:

Let's make things more interesting.
I am willing to trade these tires and the wheels on Catywampus now (which have worn tires) for basically any tires with excellent tread life plus wheels which fit them, and the car. The car likes offsets like a Miata or MINI in nothing more than 205 width with a very short sidewall.
Might try on the vwvortex as this size works fairly well on the newer jettas and golfs. Same size I run on my 09. 06 and up would be where I'd try to go with on the site. Good luck with sale.
If I hadn't just bought mine last month I would have been very interested.

I registered. I am not so sure how they will take to a for-sale as the first post, but hey.
If you have an account over there, can you go ahead and link this thread in the appropriate place?
Stupid tires.
Can't get the speedo/odo calibrated on the van to use them there.
So basically I'm back to the spacers and flares for Catywampus. It's a look which I'm not fond of, and a look which I'm not sure can be done on a temporary basis. Any ideas?
It's a shame, I have absolutely nothing that uses this size. I love a good deal on tires but just no 16's.

shipnex
I sent 4 snow tires and wheels via ups with them for I think it was 80 bucks. ... You just fill the info out online, then print your label and drop off at your closest mailing center. (depending on if they send you ups or fedex.)
I just remembered that I have lightly used direzza dz-101's that came w/ a set of wheels I purchased. Don't need/want the tires as they are too short for anything I have at 195/50-r15, but have lots of tread left (almost all?). If the size works for you, you can have them for a song. Would need to find 15's of course, but figured I'd offer.

Thank you for the offer!
At this point I need to sell, trade or use these tires. spending more money will be hard to justify, especially for wheels.

If you buy them I don't have to ship them
Sold locally to a hilariously stereotypically-correct Craigslist buyer for $300.
Now I have to get tires for Catywampus for that same $300. I have until the weekend, and then Tunawife is making me buy new ones for way more $$, which will undoubtedly come out of truck budget.
So, I need tires with these sizes:
195/45-16
195/40-16
205/45-16
205/40-16
195/55-16
195/50-16
OR I can handle Miata or MINI wheels and tires with these additional sizes:
205/40-17
195/55-15
205/50-15
195/50-15
I prefer brand name tires with lots of tread
Whatcha got??
dculberson wrote: Do they need to be all-season or are summer-only (ultra high performance) tires okay?
Tread life is king. Summer tires are great as long as they'll last a few years, maybe 30k under normal daily driving.

That may be too far. Hmmm, which wheels, which tires, and how much?
In reply to tuna55:
Gotcha. The set of tires I have that I'm not using right now (like new Falken Azenis rt615 in 205/50-15) would not last 30k on the street. Probably more like 10k. Plus they're in Columbus OH. Good luck I hope someone has a set for you!!
Last week I purchased new 205/45-16 Kuhmo ecsta ast tires for my sisters car from discount tire for $235.
Here is the current bogie:

$205 after rebate

What about the shipping?
