WTB: 80's Chevy C10 / K10 shortbed truck near MA

First one would be perfect but is out of my price range. 3rd doesn't look like a bad option but looks like it's in primer.

Oh and incase anyone is curious this is a $1000 K10 I saw on CL in New England. You guys down south are lucky.

Red K10 was a bust. Lots of bondo and rot underneath. Rot holes in the firewall, bottom of the A pillars, bed supports, and dripping brake lines.

Looked at a 84 GMC. Mint bed turned out to have rot, holes in rockers, and the trans was junk. Guy still wanted 4k.

Not much luck dealing with out of state ones either but I'm still trying.

southern or western truck

Ended up buying a red 1985 C10 short bed in RI. Some rust in the floor and a spot on the inner fender but the rest of the body is in fair shape and has lots of new sheet metal. Paint is a mix of single stage and flaking 2 stage. Look for a build thread in the near future.

I like the aluminum slots
