If I was going to separate the engine from the body - and I probably would not because i think packards are cool - I would put it in a replica of this:
My Dad drove a wooden wheeled Packard Limo as a taxi to put himself thought North Eastern enginering school. He tells me it had a 12 cyl and he would park in the lake( boat ramp) overnight to swell the spokes.

Yup. That's about right.
My Dad talked me out of getting a beat one of these for my first car. It was two tone orage over brown and was so cool.
Many years later I was talking with my dads dad he told me about a 38 I think. that he bought after he got home from the war. He and his brother rebuilt the motor and shaved the head and that it was by far the fastest car he had driven.
