sigh he's come down considerably on the price. Down to a price I'd actually pay. I can get a title. And I happen to know where there's an engine for it. If it hasn't sold my March I'll be in trouble.
Ohio has been known to crack down on cars with washed titles, so I'd be afraid to buy it, then risk having the paperwork revoked later on down the line. Good that there are states where someone can get this back on the road.

You'd think so, but no. But you can stick one in the back ;)
If the power of a VW motor will make you happy then keep it stock, the little 3 cyl, 2 stroke is kinda peppy.

Offer appreciated but its more of an available funds/time thing than space. Even if I could afford it I have my own Wartburg to rebuild. I estimate at least 2 years to finish that once I start. But I have the sand rail build happening right now so the Wartburg wont even start until late this year at best.
