Hi craigslist, im selling a beautiful 1971 mg midget. I've owned the vehicle for the past +15 years and its been garaged the whole time. I've kept it as a project car, but just never got to it. Car is in great condition and it runs and drives! This is an excellent deal, the car has only ~85,000 miles on it. Title in hand!!
Pros:
- Engine is in great condition and runs well
- Body is also in very good condition, no rust at all, newer paint job
- Car is complete for the most part, only missing interior
Cons:
- Needs convertible top (i have the old ripped one)
- Needs interior (seats are included in the car, but i recommend a totally new interior for this beauty)
- Transmission grinds on second gear
This antique is not street driveable, and must be towed. I am selling it at a very reasonable price, please call or text if interested.

Seriously good deal. If anyone buys it I have a lot of spares I'll sell cheap.
Nice car. Just needs a Datsun 5 speed.
That'd more than double the price

How tight are the interiors in these? I can fit in a Miata, could I fit in one of these. I used to have a Spitfire, but I was a lot lighter back (then 35 years).
I have a moratorium on dragging new E36 M3 home... but I'd drag that home and throw money at it.
I'm 6'4" and 200#s. I'm a squeeze in a sprite. One problem is seat travel. Not enough and I see over the windshield

Miata seats would be cheap, more comfortable and might even gain you an inch or two of interior space.

Then you aren't doing it right.
Must be leaving something out. Runs and drives but not streetable?

"runs and drives" can be a very loose term with MG people.
