Not mine. My auto ADD is in overdrive these days and I didn't need to see this. Too many projects, too many projects, too many projects...
1973 - 1.7 ltr. The car has been in the family for over 30 years - mostly in storage. The odometer reads 66,000, but has been inoperative since I can remember. The car was running last about 2.5 years ago. The ignition has always been a little temperamental, until recently. It ran fairly well, until one day, it suddenly began blowing white smoke. I also began to notice that the engine oil level began to rise; gasoline was slowly finding it's way into the crankcase and blending with the motor oil. Soon after that, the ignition went down again, but with the issue with gas an oil, I never bothered working on it again. The rebuilt fuel pump is fairly young. I did most of the brake work and installed a 911 master cylinder. The left rear caliper does not seem to function well if at all. I've never dropped the engine, nor checked compression, but based on the horsepower, I imagine the compression is not wonderful. The tranny seems very solid (side shift). Last time the oil was changed, it was clean, but with the typical very fine metal shavings. It does not slip, but I had to warm the engine a good bit before I could get it into 4&5 gear, once warmed, it shifted with no problem. However, when I made a small attempt to drop the engine, I noticed that the shift bar bushing just on the engine side of the firewall was not old, but completely gone! I'm pretty sure that whatever shifting problem the tranny had was due to having no bushing. The body is in fair shape. Oddly enough, the rust problems are on the diver's side, mainly under the driver's seat and floor pan (no rust on the battery side). There was a driver-side door sag, but has been resolved with a new inner rocker panel welded in place - driver side is now very firm. It has typical rust spots here and there: rear hood, the rear hood driver side mount has come loose. There is no rubber bead on the rear bumper, but the rubber is on the front bumper, and the two rubber horns on the front bumper are in tact. The car did suffer a front end collision may years ago. I basically beat the front end back into shape. It's not perfect, but not too bad. The front trunk latch does function properly. All glass is good along with the chrome windshield trim. Door handles are good, and the door driver mirror is original. The inside driver mirror is not original. The interior is generally in decent shape. Seat upholstery is not good, and the dash pad badly cracked, so it has one of the plastic covers. All dials seem to work (with the exception of the odometer).
