i took this car on trade today it is a 1977 320i with the 4spd it does have the AC added option (does not work) no sunroof surprising solid some surface rust but no structural. it runs great pulls hard shifts really nice. it has the tool kit also. the interior is pretty nice. someone installed the radio wrong but do have the console pieces these cars came without a radio or ac dealer added. the car drives nice no bangs, knocks has the slight e21 shimmy but goes away. parking brake even works

As usual, I wish I had the cash.....
You should have an email from me.
You keep posting nice looking cars for good prices. I have a feeling you will be shipping one to me one day. I've always wanted to try an E30, hint...hint.

Just not this one. I think it may come to me.

Yeah, you can have this one. Me wants a 325is
In reply to Fletch1:
Me too, but good luck finding a solid one in our area...
No kidding. I'm not even really in the salt belt, but my E30 is rustier than that E21 by quite a bit.

That's pretty. Make a good driver, or an even better sleeper with an m20 swap.
I think if I were to buy that, I'd fix the rust, repaint it the original color, keep it stock, and watch it appreciate as I drive it on nice days. Clean E21s have got to be getting pretty scarce.
well i cleaned her up and i think she is pretty nice put on about 50 miles today and she performed well
well i got her up on the lift for the first time there is rot on the driver floor board it looks like somone set a new panel on top of it with out removing the old will have to look at it more this weekend.....sorry for stating it had no rot thru...its on the inside of the frame rail could not see it until under the car and it fills solid when you beat on the carpet
If that is the worst or it, LOL I wouldn't worry too much.
here is a better pic it looks like a new panel was set in on the floor it doesnt look like a piece of tin but a body panel.........also it's a 5 spd not a 4spd i drove it for 70 miles thinking it was and then a friend drove it last night and shifted in to 5th and my jaw dropped open someone did a swap at sometime.....drove the car thinking how nice it would be if it had a 5spd .....sometimes i am pretty stupid

The foam used by BMW under the carpet did a great job with noise.
Must have been a VA car at some point...it has a VERY expired State Inspection sticker on it.

That said, I might buy it if its still around by then. I could always dolly the ti behind the sho.....
I need some things if you decide to part it out.
Showing my age here ;I remember them from our service department by day and long distance dealer trades at night...a couple years ago I was making a customer call at a shop in PA and one of the young guys showed me his find... a '77 320i. He opened the service manual and a couple of the stamps had my name on it when I stamped the book for service done.
I'd keep it...they are somewhat underappreciated.
