I have a 77 datsun 710 wagon. car shows 3xx,xxx ,iles on it. It needs a carb rebuild but overall isnt to bad. It will crank and run but needs a little work to drive everyday.drivers seat is wore out but the rear seats look brand new. car is an automatic tranny, 4cylinder motor. call to stop by and look at it. any cash offer will be taken. even if you scrap it its worth 300ish. let me know. i will also take some stereo for trade for it if your lookin for a drift project or race car. this thing is a rear wheel drive. thanks for looking
i just helped the guy that bought it get it home...small world

What kind of shape is it in?

This one is in Valdosta, GA and the CL ad is still up.
I would already have it, as the owner is interested in a car amp that I have, but the wife said there is NO way that ugly thing is going in our driveway/yard
man it is identical i'll tell you what!

What are your friends plans for it? What does he intend to use it for?
Hey small world indeed! Im the person who bought this 710 (the one in valdosta)
Ended up getting it for $200, he offered $150 but I couldn't do that to him, I know what these are worth (he knew too but had to get rid of it) Engine runs, like it was stated the carb needed rebuilding, I have rebuilt it the best I can (it's my first carb, all I know are FI L-series) still waiting on a therostat bolt that broke and Ill see how she really runs, but I have driven it a tiny bit and let it run for a good 15 mins and no smoke, one cylinder had 0 compression simply because a retainer had popped off.
I'd say the car is 85+% rust free, being a tiny bit more rusty then I thought, however my inspection of the car wasn't thorough... It ran, the floor pans were good it had all of the trim so I was happy. (the floor rails/pans are 100% rust free) it is extremely nice for the stated 300k miles.
I plan to just clean it up, throw in some 280zx struts and coilovers, lowing blocks in the rear and some wheels, that's it, maybe some larger carbs and 5 speed swap further down the line.
Have PLENTY of pictures and an ongoing thread at Ratsun.net

Good to know. The L24(e) that I'll be using in my Type 11 replica came out of a 1982 810/910 wagon. I'll probably be hitting you up for information before long

Ehhh I may not be here to long, just checking out the site, I love the magazine so I figured the site might be pretty nice if they have pics of my car up! haha
You may need to check out a Maxima forum as the 810 and 1st gen maxima are almost the exact same car, and If you have trouble with the EFI system I have to believe the 280zx EFI harness is damn near the same so there opens up a plethora of parts options for you.
Some other sites I use are
Ratsun.net
ZDriver.com
Hybridz.com
You can find me at all of those sites as "280zx2by2" (well on hybridz its 280zx 2by2 because I fooxed up)
Good luck with the car!
The green Wagon in florida is a 610 wagon
and that guy got it for about $200 also... .. but it didn't have a title,, and now he is pulling the running KA24E swap....

I really wish he wasn't going to cut up such a rare wagon,,, ,, I told him I'd buy him a 240sx if he promised to not cut up, and shoe-horn a RB25 into that poor wagon
