Well, the time has come for me to part with my Prudence Jane. I have no interest in riding anymore, and no time to ride even if I had the interest.
Prudence is a 1980 Yamaha XS400, has less than 5500 miles and is in excellent shape for her age. I'll toss in a brand new battery, too. I'll miss her, but it's time for her to have a new family.
Selling her for $600. Jacket and helmet can be included if the buyer is interested.
I'll get it out of the garage this weekend for better pictures, but until then that's what you get. Located in central IL
I think little dude in the background is getting ready to ride it...
Good luck with the sale. Looks clean.
wow, I had an xs 500 back in college that I think was a few years older than that. Nice bike. If I was in the market at all I'd be all over it.
(I know thats what you love to hear, a bunch of 'id buy it if's...')
I might be interested in taking her off your hands. Any idea if the suspension can handle a 6'2" man?
Nice Bike! Don't do it though. Save it for the little one for when He gets older and make it a F & S project. If you're gonna sell it, being in such good shape, ask for resumes. don't sell to just any jacka$$....

In reply to singleslammer:
It should, pegs might be a little close, they're tight on me at 5'4" (my feet are on the rear pegs as soon as I get out of town).

If I had a place to store it where we weren't tripping over it all the time and if either kid had any interest in riding, I probably would save it for a project.
We went through a pretty rough time motorcycle accident-wise about a year before Pru became part of the family so the kids are fairly indifferent to being on two-wheels.
I'm not too worried about that. My bike is pretty tight so this can't be much worse. And if it is, I can capable of moving things around a little. Looking forward to new pictures.
