As we have all been coveting these...
Mercedes goodness
I have a 1985 Mercedes Benz 190e with a 2.3 16v motor and 5 speed tranny with only 55,000 original miles. runs and drives good, daily driver, needs tune up. interior is mint besides a couple heat cracks in dash board. great car!!!
Why did my brain go to the cosworth?

It seems like that should be more expensive, but it also looks like it didn't start life as a red car either.

One of those photos is not like the other
Love the way those look with a little bit of work!
That's not a 16v, air cleaner and top of engine is wrong...also, no red 16v.
Presentable car for $1700 though, it would be a good DD If you didn't want to get there fast.

I didn't think that was a 16V engine. Glad to see I haven't lost it all.

Boo - such a tease then... Found it in one of my random hunts for older SL's...
very rare to find one with manual trans in US. those odometers are notorious for breaking (if you reset trip odometer while car is not stationary, good chance it will break odometer gear). I would be skeptical of mileage but seems like fair price even if higher mileage.
