Same car, but I am the new owner...........and still don't need a CRX. There is no title to this car; GA doesn't require one for an '86 or older car. Nothing has changed from the previous post except for the price: $800 obo. Drive it home. I am in Covington, GA and will travel for extra $$$$.

Blasphemy!
There isnt a soul out there who doesnt need a CRX Si
GA may not care about titles for pre 86 cars, but SC sure does.

You are correct; however, all you need is a bill of sale from the last registered owner (in Georgia, of course) and the registration. All of the other states know that Georgia doesn't title cars older than 1987. I have done this with a few cars and trucks in Oklahoma. I have never done this in SC, but I hope they treat it the same.
Any input from those who have experience with this?

Yes. I bought an '83 Starlet from GA a few years back with a bill of sale. Pennsylvania just required a state inspection mechanic to verify the VIN was the same on the car as the bill of sale and the registration went through. I got a PA title in a week or two. Very easy process, that's why I'm interested in this car.
Funny, I have an '83 Starlet that can be thrown in the deal for more $$$$. It is just a shell though (but very little rust for a Starlet).

IIRC, you will need to have a title until the end of the year.
I am still contemplating picking that bad boy up if it is still around after the new year.
I'd be all over it (actively looking for a DD right now), but that much oil useage scares me off. Figures, since I'm only an hour away.
Holy E36 M3, Les is still alive.
