I love these cars but I don't think I've ever heard a car scream "run away" as loudly as this one

My mom has a 1979 280sl (Grey market German car) in very well maintained condition with fresh paint, new top, new tires no rust for about 4x that..

Parts for these are reasonable and available in junkyards. They are not however sports cars. They drive like what they are a big merc sedan with ~2' removed from the middle.
