Ok, pulled the motor & tranny, sold them, now selling the shell. Granny's Speed Shop crossmember & tranny mounts. I bought the car being told that it was a TII car, then found out it was simply a GXL. Has the rear storage compartments of a 2 seater, but underneath has the bench for a 2+2. After discovering this, checked further, and it simply had a turbo hood, spoiler & wheels, has the smaller diff. Traded the turbo hood with a buddy who needed it for his car, so now it has the stock flat hood. 2 stock 15" rims, 2 17x8" rims, but they require tuner lugs, so not on the car. The cobra replica wheel in the pics is not included. I am including a 1988 Mazda shop manual, a Haynes manual, the Granny's Speed Shop clutch set-up for a Ford transmission. There is also an engine wiring harness for a fuel injected 302, miscellaneous Ford parts that I have left over from other builds, gasket sets, who knows what else. Also, there are a pair of brand new, never unpacked front fenders that are flared ~1" to allow for wider front wheels. Pic of fenders These are the fenders. The Tennessee title was signed over to someone else, never registered, and I don't know any Tennessee notaries to help me straighten it out :) I'd like to get $600 out of it, most of that is tied up in the fenders and Granny's stuff. Would be willing to consider any trades involving Miata parts, need a pair of FIA rated seats, could trade up for a Miata, who knows what else. Located in Chatsworth, GA, southeast of Chattanooga, TN, and a little over an hour north of Atlanta. I'll post up pics shortly.

Ok, really want to see this gone. I've found a set of SBF shorty headers to go with it, a 5.0 HO intake, push rods, brand new Clevite lifters, and whatever else we can find in the garage. New lower price, $700 obo.

Also looking for good NA 1.8 Miata header (no OBX lol), engine wiring harness & ecu for '01-up VVT Miata, 16" wheels for an '84 300ZX (non-turbo), headers for the same 300ZX, who knows what else

$600? The granny's kit, clutch pedal set-up & tranny mount were more than that, so it's basically a free car when you buy the parts

I've always wanted a v8 RX7, but distance and title issues scare me off this one... good luck!

Thanks David! How are the speakers treating you?

Very well thanks! :-)

I use the o-rings occasionally too, there were enough different sizes that they come in handy when the random seal fails and I don't want to have to make a trip to the store to buy a new one.

What would this car need to be completed as far as drivetrain? Just get a fuel injected 5.0 and a WC T5?

What about a computer?

I am VERY interested in this.

Thanks!

Rob, pretty much. You would need a computer, and a driveshaft to connect tranny & rear end. I may have the donors for the shaft out in the shop, be happy to clean a bunch of stuff out & if I don't know what car it goes with, include it in :D

Well I'm not ready for an Rx-7 yet.

Can you explain the clutch deal and the pedals? Can't you use teh stock clutch pedal assembly and just adapt the hoses? Can't you just use a stock 5.0 style clutch for the T5?

It's swapping from a hydraulic set-up on the RX-7 to a cable on the T5. This is the bracketing & stuff to adapt to a fluid slave on the T5. That may sound gibberish, I'm all hopped up on cough medicine at the moment

Gotcha. Makes sense. I thought T5s used a hydraulic throw out bearing.

Ok, I'm needing 300ZX goodies now, Z31, good suspension stuff, 5 lug 16" or 17" wheels, anyone got anything to trade & get this out of my yard?

I am still working on logistics of picking this up...

Let me check with SWMBO and get back to you.

This can be driven onto a trailer right?

Ha, that part about the trailer was a joke.

I will be in touch.

I can get it on a trailer, that's not a problem I've got a truck and a tow strap, or I can hook up the tractor, or the fire engine, something will get it onto that trailer

They do. Pre-86 Fords may have been cable.

Depended on your application. Mustangs '79-04 used a cable, they had a beefier set-up than the XR4ti
