Well guys, it's come time to part with my SE-R.
I'll keep it short & sweet. 230,000 miles. This is not a show quality car, but it's well-sorted mechanically. It did wonderfully at the SR20-forum convention last spring. I've taken it on several long highway trips, and it never misses a beat.
Good: Rust free, sunroof car, cruise control retrofitted, nice stereo, no dashboard cracks, working a/c, no 5th gear popout, good door hinges, custom VRS catback, JDM intake manifold, Altima master cylinder upgrade, whiteline caster bushings.
Bad: Rear window needs replaced (defrost grid is nonfunctional), driver's door has primered repair, trim shows age. Autocheck shows a collision in the rear in '03, and collision with a utility pole in '04.
I'm cleaning the car up tomorrow and will take more photos then.
Asking $1800. I have a progress adjustable front bar, and a second set of "deli slicer" (stock) wheels with 7/32" RT615s that I will include with the car for $200 extra.
Thanks for looking!
i had a '94 and my biggest complaint was the drone of the exhaust. how would you describe the exhaust noise level inside the car?

What exhaust did you have on your '94? I don't have any experience with the nissan OE stuff. The walker stock replacement exhaust that came with the car was very quiet, at least until it developed a hole in the pipe. The VRS exhaust droned pretty badly with the magnaflow muffler / resonator combo. Blocking off one of the exhaust tips and adding the branch resonator helped a whole lot, it only really starts to drone when you get above 70mph or so. When you get into the ~65mph range in 5th gear that the resonator is tuned for, the exhaust gets nice and quiet.
That reminds me, I should add a photo of the exhaust.

I have always loved these cars. GLWS, great price on what looks like a well-sorted car with all of the common failures investigated.
Would you feel safe using it as a DD? I'm pretty interested but don't want something I would be fixing every month...

It has been my daily driver for close to 2 years now. It has been quite reliable and i haven't had to work on it aside from upgrades and refreshing worn stuff. Worst thing that happened was a bearing in the alternator wore out. I would drive it anywhere.
Photos from today as promised:
Sharp car. I miss wringing out my 91 se-r to redline!
