The wife says I have one too many miata's sitting around. I've only put about 1500 miles on this in the last year, so it's time to go.

The good: Solid drivetrain, good engine (1.6), transmission etc. The car drives well. Interior is decent-ish (seats are a little threadbare, but not torn up) Top is solid and basically water-tight. (Top is about 3 years old) Has 1" lowering springs installed. Cruise control if you care about such things. New alternator (less than 5K miles) new power steering rack (less than 3K miles)

The bad: No heat or A/C. The heater core was bypassed by PO (probably was leaking, and came from miami, so not much need) and the blower motor under the dash died, not sure what else the AC might need. The clutch slave will need replaced before driving. The aftermarket radiator has/had a small leak that was patched, and the radiator should be replaced, as I doubt the integrity of the patch job.

The Ugly: bodywork is all bleh at best. It's a FL car, so no major rust, but there are a few bubbles on the right rear fender and trunk lid. The front bumper cover is truly ugly. The hood isn't the right color.

Overall, the car should be fine with a little repair as a daily driver, or could be built as a fairly solid challenge car. Located outside of Tallahassee FL. Due to clutch issue, the car is NOT drivable.

Crappy pictures will be uploaded shortly.

In my world, that translates to I have one too many wives sitting around.

Nah, the wife is awesome. She just doesn't think miatas make good lawn art.

Trust me, you can buy a Lambo for what it costs to get rid of a wife!

It is closer to me (literally in my backyard). Too bad I have a couple of lawn ornaments of my own to get rid of.

I'm not in a particular hurry, but I would like this gone. I'm open to offers.

Thanks to the abundance of salt air and humidity, Miami cars are not so rust free.

Despite Erohsic's comment, other than the places battery acid/fumes had their way in the trunk, (The aforementioned bubbles on fender and trunk lid) the car has no real rust problems.

Depending on weather, I may try to replace the clutch slave over the weekend, and have the car drivable for whoever the new owner will be.

Damn, I never have the money for these cheap Miatas when they come up.

I don't really have the time or space to part this.

It's not a good candidate for a 'restoration' but it'd be great as a daily beater, challenge fodder, or you could part it and do pretty well I'd imagine.

Updated: The clutch is working now, and I replaced the battery tonight. It's a running driving car, ready to be driven away.

E-mail me at homer23422000@yahoo.com I'm interested in it. The Miata still has the A/C compressor, right?

I'm trying hard to figure out why I don't need a miata besides the fact that I have two many kids to haul around.

Bah, this would be perfect to replace my 90 STS car that is rotting away - would be able to swap all the go slightly faster bits over. Too bad its 1300 miles away. Hope it goes to a great home.

So this is the 'slightly' inebriated inner voice speaking, but if you still happened to have this thing around the 24th, what would you expect to need refreshing before a 1300mile drive? If you'd be willing to take the ~220 airfaire off the top, this would be within budget, all said and done.

The sobererish side is hoping its gone well before then ( to a loving, caring owner, not an evil but necessary parter).
