My buddy picked this up for a project. Then he bought a C6, and is wanting to get his All America 1970 Camaro done up. So he is shedding this off.
2004 RX8 over 100k miles. Car turns over, we got it to start and run, but doesn't stay running. Looks like it may be the low compression issues that the Renesis sees. To try to fix any issues, i.e. coils, the car now has the best money can buy cheapo LS1 chinese coils swapped on. The car still doesnt run.
This is a 6spd car, it spun the tires when it ran and TC turned off, so TC will save you from doing stupid things if you make it run! and did some donuts. All electrics seemed to work working sunroof!!, though its missing the radio. Only thing wrong we could find in the suspension is the left rear lower control arm is bent. Looks like it was towed at one point and the tow truck tied onto it.
Asking $1500 but I think he can be persuaded to some OBO deal. I mean, he is going the All American route and not going to deal with a German origin engine and Japanese Chassis.
