It's either a '75 or a '76 from looking at the bumpers. Of course they might have switched them out...
A lot of cars like these just don't get driven much. If you see older MGs, for example, the mileage isn't usually high even for cars from the 60s.
Kids 50 years from now won't be able to say that about "cars from the '00s" though!

What's the GRM consensus on these? I know about the hell hole/rust...yadda yadda. They've never really been on my radar, but the price of admission for a 911/912 project is getting way too high.
I've owned four of them, would buy that one in a second if I wasn't already neck deep in two other projects. Known places to look for rot or structural failure but they're so much fun that it may as well be illegal. The pedals take a bit of getting used to, but that's only a fifteen minute stint, then you're hooked.
LOADS of used parts and support from the various 914 forums.
This one is the best.

Check in before you buy one and see what's going on.
Luck !

You can say that again, I always told myself that I'd get a clean 912 runner when I got back to the states, but by the time I am back in a position to own one they're stratospherically expensive. Should have just bought one in Germany and had the taxpayers ship it back for me.
