Great car, fun to drive Needs head gasket

I'm very worried that I want one of these so bad.

If the body is a good as it looks, that might be a real nice find. I suspect it will need much more than a head gasket though.

Just under 2hrs away, a bit under my limit of $2k for another toy. Dammit. (What are the odds it REALLY just needs a gasket?)

This is like the non-running Triumph GT6 I missed out on, but nicer. Even if you never fix it up, it'll still look beautiful in front of your house.

Heh. It's an hour away from me, well within the towing limits of the Outback. So much temptation...

That is right around the corner from my house. I want it bad, but I have too many cars right now and just ripped out the ceiling of my garage to start on renovations in there. Ugh!

I've seen these with Integra Type R engines swapped in......... very tasty!

I don't have a ton of spare time but am willing to take a look at it.. if you're willing to risk me buying it. Hehe. Assuming the map is correct on Craiglist it's probably 5 minutes from my house. Just let me know.

I already got my tax return. Hence my semi-serious budget of $2k for another toy. But lack of fix-it skills makes me leery of this one.

Well, they seem to be super easy to fix. I say go for it!

I suspect it needs a K24.

I emailed, asking about the condition, rust, and the interior. This is the reply I got:

"Good, 2 fifty cent rust spots bottom of bot doors, good interior is great one tear in drivers seat"

I've seen on x1/9 with an Alfa v6. Maybe not as reliable as the K20 but it sounded much better.
