Coworker just wrecked his 99 Civic Si 5 spd, ~90k miles. Chassis is most likely toast but the motor/trans are fine as far as we can tell. Car is located in Hackettstown NJ, any offer above scrap value will be entertained. No pics as of yet, but if anyone's interested let me know.
What is scrap value on such a thing?
Not sure, $300 is what I've seen for similar stuff going to junkyards.

B16 should be worth substantially more than scrap value
Damn too far, or should I say whew too far.
Usually the only break ii have at work is on the john. So sue me. Guy at work is broke again. So no go. You can sell that trans for 1k. Engine is prolly worth 2500. Real good steal.
Unless I am missing something, that car has a d16y8.

The 99/00 Si have B series engines..........I just helped a friend do a clutch swap on a '00 Si. So please, take your trolling elsewhere.

That car could EASILY be parted out to make a decent $. That dropout should get at least $1000 if all's good.
