Thoughts? I think I'm going to go look at it with a buddy. It doesn't really look armored, but the photos suck and I think that might be extra steel welded in around the door overlap.
Wonder if there are any drugs in it?
Jeremy, how far from you is this? You're great at buying old, washed-up luxury sedans.

Try running the VIN through a decoder to see if it's really bulletproof.

I have met people who thought these were all armored because of the double paned glass.
I'm betting you'll find this is just a big body Mercedes. If it turns out to be bulletproof, let me know. I can make some money off that E36 M3.
If we buy it can we bring a gun to shoot at it during concours?

It is Florida, pretty sure you can shoot first and ask questions later.
If it was a factory bullet proof car,, wouldn't come with a more potent engine than a 3.2? I mean, a bullet proof 3.2 would loose in a drag race to an 80's VW diesel. Kinda makes escape from shooters impossible. Which is part of it's job too.
I saw one for sale once that was TOTALLY James Bonded out. It was completely armored, had smoke screen and oil slick sprayers, and even had a hidden hand gun in the steering wheel where the air bag used to be. The best part was that it looked totally stock from about 10 feet away.

Which is why I'm betting this is actually just a dead base W140 with the double pane windows they all have.
