1990 Mazda Protege 4wd. Daily driver, 5spd, sohc engine. Blown head gasket. Price is flexible. A liitle rough around the edges, but basically a solid car. You must want this specific car. 2wd models are everywhere, but not the 4wd. Price is a little flexible; will consider trades plus cash if interesting. Would like a truck plus cash, but cash is king. Yep. Sohc 1.8.

BP is stupid easy swap. Then turbo.

What type of differentials does this have?

I don't remember, the driveline isn't super robust. Jay has two of these.

A rust free, AWD ,economical ,4 door with 86K miles for $2500 asking price. That would sell pretty darned quick up here.

Wow, never heard of those before. Seems like all the Japanese manufacturers made interesting AWD vehicles somewhere between 1985 and 1995 and then they gave up on it, except Subaru.

Yeah, and jdm land needs to get back into that. They sell awd versions of cars everywhere except USA. The Honda fit is sold awd.

Probably, though they like blowing head gaskets.

The twin cam is a ridiculously easy swap, though.

not only super easy but give you the opportunity to do the world's easier timing belt and water pump install while the BP is out.
