Idea I just had for a fun game between like-minded friends: Cheap Biturbo Challenge.
Everybody has $500 to buy a neglected Biturbo, and a further $1000 to get it on the road, (no engine swaps allowed). Whoever puts the most miles on their car, wins.

That doesn't sound like fun at all.

Funny you mention that. I'm helping update the bonus point structure for BABE rally and I just added in a 1000 point bonus for anyone who competes in a biturbo with stock drivetrain.

It's more of a schadenfreude kind of fun.
Everytime I see a biturbo mentioned, I have to look on the local CL
Spyder for $8k(!) highest price ever!
Highest mileage biturbo? 75k miles? Wowza!
KJ
Yes, 75k miles may be the highest mileage I have seen.
The $8k one may be that rare bird in that it is a Biturbo being sold that actually runs and drives.
Typical is less then 50k miles and often less than 36k miles and not running.
Here is a humorous one. Seems to run, lots of work done recently. Selling to avoid foreclosure.
Yes, that is right, keeping a Biturbo running may very well cause you to loose your house.

$5k for a BiTurbo? If that's true, he'll be sleeping in it soon.
I just happen to be going to CT with a car trailer tomorrow, and I know someone with a variety of V8's just kicking around. Hmm....

75,000 miles on a BiTurbo? He must live at the bottom of a 72,500 mile hill.
