I don't even think its worth $2k bones.......1k bones and I might pay attention if and only if, the block is an alumasil or wtf ever they called it
Looks like someone has spent too much time reading internet forums and convinced himself (I grant the fairer sex more intelligence than this) that he's up to the task. BTDT wasted the money.

it is possible to put a 540i 6 speed behind that motor but I am sure you are right.
Chris
i love "complete just needs wiring" since we all know that welding motor mounts is way harder than making electrons go where they're supposed to go. retarded craigslist retards are retarded.
I once picked up a Miata that was partway through a V8 swap, cheap. The owner was about "80%" done - he'd taken out everything that wasn't a V8. And that's all...
Apparently "just needs wiring" includes wiring on all those parts that aren't going to bolt on with that 8 cylinder 4" above hood level.
Unless he includes all of the Alpina goodies to get this done . . .Pass.
There are ways to get around that (E53 oil pan + pump and firewall chop, I believe), but from the pics, it looks like a stock M60 oil pan.
