I always kind of liked those, especially the earlier ones with the smaller rear glass and less body cladding.
there was just one of the late 80's ones on craigslist near here, the ones look like an escort GT humped a mustang GT and had a love child? It was black, looked pretty nice, was reasonably priced, I think $1200?
I've actually been talking to the seller of that car. He sent me some pictures of the rust that I will happily forward to anyone else who is interested. He says that the engine wiring harness needs to be hooked back up (very simple on these) and it will need some rust repair.
I want another EXP, but not this one.

A kid in my high school had one. We used to call it the Muscort.

The first stickshift I ever drove was a new model almost identical to this. It was my sister's boyfriend's (now husband.) I much more mastered a manual trans in my sister's same vintage TC3 with a 4 speed. The clutch in the EXP was very picky and the Plymouth much more forgiving.
the plymouth had to be forgiving, because, like all plymouths, driving it, in turn, required you to forgive it for being awful.
This is around a half-hour away if anyone needs me to look at it.
I remember some magazine saying the front of the early models looked like a frog at the moment of castration...
That one was on CL for $1000 a while ago. I guess they figure the longer it sits without running the more it is worth.
