I bought this coilover setup in late 2010 after bending Shaikh's ear for over a year. We settled on this combination by assessing my wants and needs. Namely, good street performance with excellent autocross performance on street tires.
I have used these coilovers in the 2011 and 2012 seasons. I have done 21 autocrosses and 3 NASA TT events. I have another Miata for trips, so the car was really only driven to and from the events. I would guess the shocks have between 2000 and 3000 miles.
FatCat says I could further tune the suspension if desired with a change in spring rates(100lb). The rest of my setup was a 95 Miata, FM front bar, stock rear bar, 8 inch wheels with 225 RS-3s. I think the car is the most neutral handling Miata I have ever experienced. The setup is exceptional: getting on the gas early, making mid-corner corrections, trail-braking, you name it, these shocks can handle it.
There is a lot of info right on this forum about these coilovers, so if you are still reading, I am sure you know about Shaikh's philosophy regarding suspension design.
