My grandfather was a bit of a packrat, and its fallen on me to clear out his old shop/house. So as the title states anyone looking for shelving? I want to say they're 18 inches or so deep, 36 or 48 wide, metal, set up with tab mounting so you can set the shelf # and height however you want. Scrap price is 9.00 a hundred or so, really don't want to load all of em on a trailer and take them down just to unload them again. Thinking 40$ a section with 4 shelves sound fair? I'll get exact deminsions tomorrow, just thought I would ask. They're located just west of Gainesville, fl.
We might be able to use those at work. What kind of condition are they in?
I'll shoot you a photo later today, to be honest I haven't looked at them in awhile. I just know that the shop is mostly filled with row upon row of em.
If you were closer.... sigh

Post a pic. I may be interested in some
I always want shelves. :D
Aussie, I highly doubt they'll all be gone by the challenge sadly...there is that many of em.
Weather permiting I'll get into the shop tonight and get a pic
I could get some then if I can stow them away, what sizes are the pieces?
I can use some also if Aussie has room and they are still available then.
Ok quick look this evening got me this. And these are all set up with 4 or more shelves each.
I have 3 or 4 sections that are nearly 7.5' tall x 25" deep and 36ish wide.
I have about 12 sections that are almost 5.5' tall and ~25" deep x 36 ish wide.
That is just what is put together, not disassembled in the corner. Also, I'll have to look for more corner posts.
Also tucked into the corner are a handful of what looked to be 3 or 4' tall corner posts. Actual shelves I'm not counting, there are a metric butt load of them. They are painted gray and some of the are starting to show rust in spots. I also came to realize I've got one hell of a job when it comes to breaking these down, they are loaded with E36 M3.
There is also a bunch of what looks to be ~6" wide wall mounted shelves hanging out down there. If your familiar with what they used to use in military libraries, that's the best way I can describe em.
I'll post up a crappy cell pic in the morning, come this weekend I will get in there with a real light and get some better pics. Wow what a mess. I'm looking forward to playing with the snakes and critters in the shop.
Oh and the shelves are actually 4 piece, there are the end plates to each shelf, and 2 ~12.5" plates that make up each shelf. Sturdy enough that I've used em for a boost when needing to reach up a bit higher @ 200 lbs. For a nominal beverage fee I can store some of em till the challenge.

I'm in, also... Mongo as an Aussie road-train rolling up I-75, delivering shelving to all us good boys and girls.
