Turbo Rabbit for sale in Vermont Selling turbo Rabbit for $1,200

Located in Vermont. Will deliver for $1M cash in small unmarked bills and a six pack of really good microbeer. Hookers are not an acceptable method of payment at this time (wife standing over my shoulder).

Turbo needs to be rebuilt and exhaust manifold needs to be replaced.

Ran 25-28 psi.

Transmission is FK Rabbit 5-speed with 4.25 final. I believe it is a Kennedy 4-puke clutch VERY light flywheel (Bill Rutan special... if you know who that is)

If I don't sell at a "car", I will part it out; parts are worth more than the $1k price (strange how that works)

Engine is currently removed as I was trying to determine what was wrong with its performance... it is the turbo and it needs to be rebuilt.

Track pads (EBC blues, I think) front and rear. Rear rotors. Adjustable height coilover suspension.

New 22" tires (only 3 miles or less on them)

Non-stock control arms and strut towers. Non-stock rear end. Coil overs all around. New pads. Car is a blast to drive, especially at the hillclimbs (see videos below).

For an additional $150, I can include a NEW engine computer. (unsure if there are any issues with the old computer). Old computer is HPV-1 with electromotive coils. "Magic Box" runs another injector before the throttle body.

Race seat.

To get it running 100% and to the hills? Turbo and exhaust manifold, put it back together, have fun!

Rear motor mount!

The turbo (shaft play)

HPV-1

New computer for $150 if interested. Includes new wire that goes to timing wheel..

(man posting pictures here is not easy)

This car is awesome! Any idea how much power it makes/made? Also what does it weigh? And lastly is the engine stock internals?

Wow Almost turn key challenger. Glad I've got 1200$ earmarked for something else, otherwise I would be highly tempted.

This car possibly even scares the E36 M3 out of me....

Those videos are INSANE.

Can you tell me more about the HPV-1?

I think the Burke 1 video is my fave. Nice save when the rear tried to swap ends. That car looks like a serious hoot to drive. To be challenge legal someone would have to put some lights back in it.

Any interest in selling the new computer at that price without the car?

Free bump.

Steve(rabbit farmer) is a stand up guy. This car is an absolute terror, built by one of the legends of vw hillclimbing.

Good luck with the sale.

This car would be super competitive in the challenge on the autocross course and the strip.

Very surprised he's selling it. Suppose when you have a fleet of VW's, sometimes you have to let one be loved by someone else.

This car looks like something out of a Mad Max movie. I like it!
