Wow. He could have set the engine a bit further forward...
I wouldn't even use a 307 as a boat anchor

hey now, I have seen some quick 307s. I wouldn't start there for a swap, but they're fine.
Why can the police lights legally go with the sale? Here in Florida the state, county, and city surplus auctions sell them to the general public by the pallet.
I once saw fellow GRM'er Pseudosport drag the 307 block that came out of his 1969 Camaro behind his truck in his parents' rocky gravel driveway at a high rate of speed. Sparks went everywhere. That was entertaining.

Now that's the best use for a 307

I love the gaping hole behind the pass side headlight......gotta be great for rigidity

Battery tray must've been rusted out. Why mess with a proven formula? Just put a CA/SR/RB in there and call it a day.
It's easy to see why the project was never finished- where the hell would you put the radiator? With the silly forward engine placement, by the time the water pump and pulleys are hung on the engine, there's no room for anything but the front bumper.
If the rest of it is decent it looks like an ok car. Pull that hunk of crap, throw in a stock KA that some dorifto kid is getting rid of, and have a fun DD/autocrosser. Although I guess you couldn't sell that motor to recoup any money by the sounds of it...
