They sure drive smooth, but I was afraid of something breaking everytime I drove it. The $600 one could make a sweet coffee table.

I have had 6 of these and i really like them...good examples can be had for 2k to 3k...i owned one with the 350 conversion didnt like it as much as the 12

Everything I ever needed to know about XJs, I learned the first time I worked on one and was checking the front end.
With hand pressure, I could shift the upper control arm's mounting point a quarter inch. Apparently, Jaguar had heard of the concept of structural rigidity and decided to have nothing to do with it.
