VW based. Styled after the 60's Ford GT40 race cars. Based on VW beetle pan. Needs new pan. No motor/trans. I have original manual in pdf file. Have plans for tube chassis for using mid engined V6 or V8. I have no time for this project right now. Entire rear tilts up for engine access. Trades considered.

badass! beetle pans are getting friggin hard to find around here, they have either been restored and garaged, scrapped/rusted into the ground, or turned into dune buggies and other things. But there is so much you can do on a beetle floor plan, I can easily envision this thing with an EJ25 in the back.

Can't you buy a branditty new Beetle pan from J C Whitney? I know there's an outfit that sells Mexican Beetle chassis.
I think that's a Fiber Fab Valkyeri, cool car. I seem to recall some were built mid engined and did quite well in Solo II back in the 70's, it's what got Kit cars accepted in D and E mod.

You can get pans but not the actuall replacement chassis which is what they mean when they say it rides on a pan. I think you can still get the mexi chassis but before I'd do that I'd but a dune buggy chassis which is just basically a tube frame version of a beetle chassis.

Yeah, I know what they mean. I thought JCW used to sell a whole rollerskate. It looks like all they have now are the inserts.
