With a lot of work and a few thousand dollars in parts, I'm sure that you could make that thing worth $500 in less than a year.
I like how the phrase "recently running" is used as a positive and a bragging point.

I'm curious as to the exact sequence of events: Driving; Crashing; Running; Craiglisted.
What's in the garage? Looks fun

Yes, it does look like there may be some kind of flammable liquid on the shelf that could be used to fix the Maserati.
In reply to andrave:
Good point. I wonder what backed into the Maserati?!
I would seem rare that the Maserati was at fault.

Looks like the front of an old hudson
There were only 1800 or so of those made, so someone may want to fix it. A decent one is more like $15k, a lot more than a Biturbo lol. I want one, probably not that one though because I have seen way better for not a lot more money.
Has anyone ever noticed that soon after cars get into accidents and/or are posted for sale on craigslist, the starter always mysteriously goes bad, even though the engine "runs great" otherwise?
I wonder if it's some kind of craigslist curse that causes starters that othewise rarely go bad, to go bad.
I'll bet that genital warts would be easier to live with
Maserati "recently running"=It ran from the dealership, quit at a stop sign and exploded next Traffic Light...
That's neat, but yeah, really frightening. Not tempted.
(edit) Worth noting- that may be the first link to a car for sale on this site I wasn't tempted by. This coming from a guy who recently posted, in public, that I'd like to own a Ford EXP. In other words, my bar is low.
well, at least a few exp's need to be saved. they were cool enough to warrant that! I just saw one on craigslist near here. tried to find it for you but looks like its gone.

I seem to recall these having Mopar slushboxes, but couldn't they at least come up with their own shift lever?

I bet, with the right work, this could be an amazing sounding motor that is currently surrounded by a pile of junk.
