I have a friend going to FL this weekend. I doubt he'll want to tow a trailer there and back, but if he will I plan to try and snag this one.

The MG looks in much better shape than what I started with except for the hatch - 3 510s for $400 each to boot.

Bet it has the open air floor option.

All MGBs under $2000 have ventilated flooring. the only question is how rotten are the dog legs and holes in the sills

Lol, went and looked at this starquest a co worker told me he ha sitting in his yard while he was still at work one day. He told me it had been sitting for awhile, but I popped the hood and there was a diamondback shed laying around the valve cover. So I didn't poke around it too much. When I opened the passenger door there was another, and when I swung it all the way open it did the rusty door pop. And that's when I heard that tattletale that told me I wanted nothing more to do with that car. As far as I know its still sitting in his yard

Unfortunately it's a no go. He is going to Pensacola, so it's too far out of the way.

Not sure if any of you were able to make any real contact but we weren't. This would be a good candidate for our L67 swap.

While i'm there I'll take pics of everything if we don't pic it up (if we ever hear back from these people, lol)

I'd love a crack at all 4 Datsun pickups. Those go for a lot more than scrap value to the mini truck guys, even if they don't run. Most of them cut them into pieces and weld them back together anyway, so rust normally isn't an issue either. Might be a good opportunity for someone to make some quick cash.
