My M/Pit find is way way deep....

The engine alone would be enough for me to steer clear...saying "Jasper L28" makes me want to vomit. It's a disgrace to the Datsun name...

Having owned a 280Z (NOT a ZX, like the first ad) I know enough about them to steer clear. What's the prob? There are enough 2+2 only parts in them to make them a headache to restore. From a dynamic point of view, a 2+2 is to a "regular" ZX in the same way a FWD (early '90s) Capri was to a Miata. That is, uses/used many of the same bits, but was aimed at folks who were more interested in carrying "stuff" with their 'vertible, than having any sort of driving fun.

We had a zx 2+2 come in for an oil change the other day. he even, in a half-assed way, took care of it. but it was still a double ugly: 2+2 eww, 280zx:ewwwww
