Seems like it would be a lot of fun for the Challenge... If you can just get into the trunk.

Chances are that there are positive and negative terminals somewhere under the hood that you can connect jumper cables to. Then you could unlock the power trunk lock, put your battery in, and do a big burnout as you drive away with your new $1200 Jag.
$1200 for an XJR? Yeah that would be an awesome buying you you can get to the battery.
I thought the trunk is keyed to the ignition key? I could be wrong but there should only be one key.
Mmmmmm, same year model as my Vanden Plas I had. But this one is WAY cooler! Id trade my Xtype for it, given it runs as well as they say it does.
This is 15 minutes from my home if anyone wants me to take a look. I would be all over it if I had the space.
Check under the back seat for a manual release. I thought I was berkeleyed with the battery in the mini being in the hatch and it being a power release, but there's a manual cable pull under the buttal portion of the seat cushion.
Boxsters can trap you like that. Frunk release is electric. Battery is in frunk. Dead battery = , but there's a way around it.
I wish I was not traveling for work at the moment. I'd be all over this! What a cool Challenge car!!
OMG! Man I so don't need another car but........ Oh, and having driven one around a track, these are actually not bad. It is a complete package.
Im close. I want. I even have a little money.
My wife said I could have it. In the divorce.
Guess not. She's way cooler than a jag, and better looking.
Has anyone checked this out yet? I'd love an XJR! It would make me feel like a bad A** supervillain!

my guess is the car doesn't run and he doesn't want you to even try.
