That LOOKS like it might be the beginning of something sweet, but . . .

Looks can be SO deceiving. I once scooped up a TR7 with a Capri V6 installed. Looked OK and was supposedly running at one point, ended up being stripped of the 3.45 rear (Stock TR7 convertible only ratio) and then just junked.

The engine was held in using door hinges for motor mounts. One side was welded to the original mounting bracket, the hinges were opened until they met the old engine mounts and were welded up side-to-side and right through the hinged section and hinge pin.

NEVER trust an engine conversion unless you did it yourself or, at least, watched it being done ! !

that things gonna need a bigger radiator, LOL. but i'm not gonna lie, V8 TR6 lights my fire. for an old-school cheap build i'd use a rusty fox 5.0 / t5 donor.

Unless they have done something fatally stupid that I cant see, that looks like a good deal. Keep in mind that the LS engine should slot right in to the same hole.

What I don't like about TR6s is that they have the chassis rigidity of a toboggan. Even on a solid car, if you drape your arm over the door, (and who does not?) it will get pinched as you go over railroad tracks.
