lack of knowledge here ..( I tow dolly a FWD) do you have to disconnect the driveshaft to tow on a dolly ?

If it still has an engine and gearbox, it's probably a safe thing to do. Depends a little on the gearbox though - the splash lubed ones should be mostly OK, but some with a built-in pump (for some reason the Rover SD1 comes to mind, although I might be wrong on that one) need the driveshaft disconnecting. I'd probably do it anyway if I were to tow something for more than 20-30 miles. Heck of a lot less work than having to replace/rebuild the gearbox afterwards.
why did i not see this earlier? oh yeah i was out of town not paying attention. now i'm sad it sold, i'd put the tags off my parts truck on it and drive it on the street.

depends on price, condition, etc. Curious though=)
If it could be street legal it would be the car version of a door, top off jeep

silverado parts truck with clear title, commercial plates because it's "for my business" and working lights = "street legal"
They are built on a gm Malibu frame squaring them up is just a control arm change away. I will ask and get prices.
