So at my work we just acquired an 87 924s rolling chassis that is SERIOUSLY clean underneath.
i took the engine out for disassembly and inspection (spun bearing, scored cylinder wall) and the damage/estimated repair ultimately ended up in with our shop having an engineless 924s that we dont have an immediate use for.
i'd own it already if i had either the short money my boss wants or the space for it, probably as a challenge car turned awesome street car after, but alas...
just thought i'd let you fellas in on it. being on ebay i cant say how much it'll now go for but it would be an excellent example of this chassis to start with.
