I'm going down to pick up the V8 RX-7 from Pat next weekend, will have an empty trailer going from Dalton, GA (just south of Chattanooga, TN) down to Odessa, FL. Anyone need anything hauled? Would need to have it before next Friday, or be willing to meet me at I-75 as I come through for pick-up/delivery. Trailer/long bed full size truck. Diesel donations accepted :) This will be going down on 9/21, and back that evening/next morning.

Yep, going down to pick it up & have some fun. Woo-hoo! Hobiercr, should not be a problem, prefer not to get too far off track, or if they can meet me somewhere close to I-75, that's cool. Have you got a cherry picker or anything to unload with?
I do have a hoist, however, are you coming this next weekend (22-23rd)? If so we are racing at Sebring on Saturday and I won't be back home until Sunday afternoon. Hmmm, maybe Pat has a hoist...
I haven't heard back from the engine owner yet so I'll let you know.
Glad you are getting that RX7. You are going to have some serious fun and with a not too much finish work it is going to look as good as it sounds.
Coming down on Friday. Taking the day off work so I don't have to be away from the kids so much. Hoping to be in Odessa ~ 5 pm if I don't run into any snags. Anybody know if diesel is cheaper in Georgia or Florida? If it's cheaper in GA, will fill up before crossing the line. If Florida, I'll milk it 'til I'm there lol Nice thing about a 34 gallon tank 
I'm guessing GA right near the border, at least it used to be.
Don't worry about dragging this motor for me The guy hasn't responded and I am full up the next 2 weekends and don't feel like asking Pat to store an engine for me.
No problem, just figured use this as a good excuse to meet some other GRM'ers If I were really insane, I'd pick it up a little earlier and just tow straight to the Challenge
