Hey guys,
I've had these posted on CraigsList but I figured I would post them here as well. I have two black Corbeau Forza bucket seats. One is pretty much new, only used it for a month or so then took the car off the road (it has a displacement issue, only 1.8L... bumping it up to 5L to see if it... evens... out). The other seat is faded pretty bad and has a rip. I'm asking $225 for both of the seats. For the sake of time, and my horrible internet connection, the only way I can post the pictures right now is via the CL post.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Oh, and if the CL add didn't give it away, these are located in Gainesville FL
I sent this to my watchlist in case my finances ever come in order=/

at one time Corbeau seats weren't considered acceptable for track days / TT ... was that just common knowledge or was it in fact ( is it still ) true ?
If you still have them at the Challenge and they fit me I may very well be interested. I'll find you.

Depends on the model of seat. Corbeau has some consumer grade seats that might not be acceptable. In general I think they have fewer models with fia ratings.
Most hpde style events require equivalent seats for driver and passenger. I've used a couple of their models of seats in race cars, and not received any grief for them. The key is proper mounting, if you have to run sliders, then I think you may wish to find a more race oriented slider to attach to your corbeau.

This blew up a day too late, lol. the seats were just sold last night.
As far as how race legal the Forza's are, as with sach, I've been to events with them and haven't had any issues. They have a tube steel frame, built very well. The only reason I sold these was because some dealer sold me two brand new Corbeau A4's for $200. Something tells me he has no idea what seats he had... and since these are for my daily driver, the fixed-backs had to go.
These seats are comfy, for race seats. But I wouldn't drive in them all day every again. It's too inconvenient

I would have like them ... I think ... since I drive my Kirkey race seats crx to and from events
Does that dealer have any more A4's at that price?!?!?

wbjones: You are a man among men, lol..
VWguyBruce: lol, unfortunately no. When I saw it on CL I Couldn't believe it. They actually came with two new 98+ jetta corbeau brackets if anyone is looking for some. I have no idea how I'm going to sell them

maybe that praise isn't really deserved as much as some laughter would be... the longest was from Asheville to Mid-Ohio , spent the weekend and then drove it home .... 10 hrs each way ... don't think I'll try that again
Those brackets will sell on the Vortex easily.
